Lego Ghostbusters is Real

Lego GhostbustersThis is something that I’ve been hoping for, ever since discovering Lego Cuusoo many years ago.  I never actually thought it would happen, though.  There were many Ghostbusters projects on the site, mostly featuring Ecto-1 and the team, but in March of 2013, a new one was launched that changed everything.  This one looked great, and a lot of Ghostbuster fan sites were spreading the word about it.

Mattel to preview ‘Ghostbusters’ collectibles for 25th Anniversary

GhostbustersWhen I saw this update in my RSS Reader, I had to write about it. You see, I’ve been a Ghostbusters fan for most of my life. The movie came out when I was 4, and the cartoon when I was about 5 or 6. Not only that, but I still have a ton of the toys from back in the day. This year, there are some replicas coming out of the Proton Pack and the Ghost Trap from the movie.

Now Mattel has announced that they’re going to release a line of new collectibles in honor of the 25th Anniversary of Ghostbusters, this year.

There will be movie based 12- and 6-inch versions of the characters, as well as ghosts and characters based on The Real Ghostbusters. New Ghostbusters Action Figures? Thanks, Mattel, for breaking my budget! Read on for more!
